For once, I've decided to initiate a meme.  So, using questions from this website, I'm gonna answer as many as I can, & then tag some hapless victims  friends.

•What was the best thing that happened to you this weekend?
I wrote & sent out the first draft of my very first foray into fanfiction to my good friends & editors.  I am ecstatic over their initial reviews.

•What is your favorite animal? List three adjectives to explain your choice.
Bald Eagle.  Regal, predatory, & striking.

•What is your favorite color? List three adjectives to explain your choice.
Royal blue. Primary, vivid, unnatural (meaning not often found in nature).

•It's a very hot and muggy day. You desperately want something very cool and refreshing to quench your thirst and revitalize your body. What would you drink -- either make your own or store-bought.
Sweet tea.  Homemade or store-bought, doesn't matter as long as it's REAL sweet tea (Southerners, you know what I'm talking about).

•What do you consider to the most valuable thing you own: when you were a child/teenager/now?
When I was a teen, my drawing folder.  Now?  I have no idea, maybe my Japanese Dragonball manga?  I don't own anything expensive that really matters to me, sentimentally.

•What's the kindest act you have ever seen done (either to/by you or another)?
I comforted someone whose husband died suddenly by giving her an angel penny that someone had given me.  I have a habit of giving service people (waitresses, etc.) who look like they're having a bad day a nice note & a piece of candy.

•If you could have any job in the world, which one would you want?
I'd like a full-time teaching job with medical benefits.

•What were your best/worst subjects in school and what subjects would you want to learn now?
Best: Biology, hands-down, with English & Latin close seconds.  Worst: Mathematics of any kind.  Now, I'd love to learn some unconventional stuff, like Morse code, Braille, sign language, & such.

•What are you most talented at? What is your worst nightmare today?
I'm talented at many things that don't make me money & aren't practical.  I'm terrified that I'll get stuck in a job that I hate, & end up being so depressed I self-destruct.

•How often do you clean between your toes?
Technically, every time I shower?  That's twice a day, if anyone's wondering.

•What is your favorite way to waste time at work without getting caught?
StumbleUpon.  I can't resist new knowledge.

•If you were to perform in the circus, what would you do?
I'm pretty sure I could train animals.  I have a knack for dog training, especially.

•If you could eliminate one thing you do each day in the bathroom so that you never had to do it again, what would it be?
Aaaauuugh I hate shaving, why am I so hairy & Nordic? Dx

•If you could have been told one thing that you weren't told when you were a teenager, what would you like to have heard?
You need to find a positive support, & learn mathematics.

•You've just been hired to a promotions position at Kellogg Co. What would you put in a new breakfast cereal box as a gimmick?
Codes & puzzles: expand those porous little brains!  Children today need all the mental stimulation they can get.

•If you were to get a tattoo, what would it say or what would the graphic be?
I've always secretly wanted to get a black-light dragon tattoo.  I don't know where.

•If you could play any musical instrument, what would it be and why? If you already play an instrument(s), what do you play and why?
I love cellos.  I'm not musical in the least, but I've always loved the way cellos sound.

•When trick-or-treating as a kid, was there any kind of candy that you didn't like to get?
Anything with nuts in it.  Bleargh.

•What is your favorite memory of Christmases past?
My first dog, Max, opening Christmas presents.  He passed that trick on to Hazel, but it's not the same.

   •Paper or plastic?
Plastic, because it fits my garbage can.

•What was the weirdest food you've ever eaten?
I tried to eat Amaebi once.  Emphasis on tried.

•What do you keep in the trunk of your car?
Emergency crank radio, water, dog leashes, & wiper fluid.

•If you owned a CB radio what would your "handle" be?
Rocket, probably.  It's my handle just about everywhere.

•If you were in the "Miss America" talent competition, what would your talent be? (Note: both guys & gals have to answer this question)
Biology trivia.  Watch me spout useless facts about animals, plants, & environments you've never even heard of.  :^D

•Tell something that nobody in the group knows about you.
My eyes have changed color due to eye-drops I take; they've gone from pure blue to blue with green rings around my pupils.

•What is your earliest childhood memory?
Sitting in a wheelbarrow of warm water, & being in terrible pain from arthritis.

•What was your favorite TV show when you were growing up?

•The great theologian Andy Warhol stated that everyone gets 15 minutes of fame.  What happened during your 15 minutes?
I ran for office. :^D

•Name the most famous person you've had a face to face encounter with ("brush with greatness").
Senator Marco Rubio.  I told him, to his face, that he had a knack for public speaking.

•What article of clothing most closely describes your personality?
A long-sleeved shirt.  Not revealing, very modest, usually appropriate, but a little boring & prudish.

•If you were to write a book what would it be about?

My upper ears.  Always thought that'd look cool, but not worth blowing a job interview over.

•Who was your favorite teacher and why?
I'll be sentimental & say my Mom, because she homeschooled me as far as she could, & really kick-started my love of learning.

•What makes you feel the most secure?
Redundant plans & a deadline that I've already completed all the work for.

•What was your nickname growing up or now?
Rocket.  More people know me by that than my real name.

   •Peanut or plain?

Model animals, from horses to lizards.  I like critters.

•If you could be any animal in the world for 24 hours, which animal would you be? Why?
This I'd have to be careful with, as I wouldn't want to be eaten or anything.  Hmm...  I guess it'd be neat to be a blue-ringed octopus, because then nothing would touch me, & I could go exploring the Great Barrier Reef.

•Have you ever jumped out of a plane?

•If you were stranded on a desert island, what three books and three people would you take with you? Why?

I'd take The Fountainhead, by Ayn Rand, because I need an excuse to finish it, & the other two books should logically be a boyscout handbook & a reference book for the native flora & fauna, respectively.  The people I'd take would be Les Stroud (a.k.a.    •What are your three favorite spices?
Cilantro, oregano, & basil.

•If you were a shoe, what kind would you be and why??
Something practical, durable, & all-terrain.  Maybe a combat boot?

•What's the funniest thing you did as a kid that your parents still talk about to this day?
I was darn precocious.  Frighteningly so, to some adults who didn't know any better & treated me like an average child.

•List the food items you take at a salad bar.
Chopped eggs, black olives, bacon bits, etc.  All the expensive luxury items I can dump on lettuce to make it less awful.

•How many doors do you have in your house?
Twenty-four, not counting closet doors.

•Do you like silver or gold jewelry? Why?
Silver, because I like the color better.

•Name two words you always seem to spell incorrectly. Try to spell it now!
Occasionally & judgment.  Firefox spell-check FTW.

•Have you ever been a participant in a parade? What did you do?
I handed out campaign literature, & ran ahead of the float, nearly passing out in the Florida summer heat.

•It's Saturday morning. What's the first thing you do when you wake up.
Take out my retainers.

•If we Googled your name what would we see?
Probably my campaign website.

•Which way do you eat corn on the cob?
One row at a time, horizontally.

•If you were a llama, where would you get your hair cut?
In...a...barn?  I guess?  I hope they make something useful from my hair, at least.

•What is the longest book you ever read?
I don't know which is longer, Atlas Shrugged or The Lord of the Rings, but I've read them both.

Good lord that was a lot of questions.  If you want, you can eliminate some of these & only answer the interesting ones, as I did.  Now, to tag some people!
